Skate Weights are excellent for players at any skill level seeking to enhance their skating abilities. These weights have been thoroughly tested and proven to improve speed, balance, and endurance. The skate weight design includes a tuck-away pocket with a Velcro closure, securing up to three steel weights. Senior sets are adjustable to 120, 240, and 360 grams, while junior sets adjust to 100, 200, and 300 grams.
To get started, use the skate weights for half of your practice time, gradually increasing usage. This will help develop leg tone, strength, and foot speed. Prolonged use of skate weights will maximize conditioning and endurance.
Each skate weight attaches securely to the skate with three Velcro straps. Ensure you use the senior weights for senior-sized skates and the junior weights for junior-sized skates.
